Clip length
01Seedance 2.5 accepts 4–30 seconds, Kling 3.0 accepts 3–15 seconds, and Veo 3.1 offers 4, 6, or 8 seconds on its per-second model IDs. Veo’s per-clip IDs produce 8 seconds. A longer finished video needs multiple clips or an extension workflow.
First and last frames
02Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 can use first and last frames. Kling 3.0 also supports multi-shot prompts. Seedance frame inputs cannot be mixed with reference images, video, or audio in the same request.
Sound in the output
03Kling 3.0 Turbo always generates sound. Veo 3.1 per-second model IDs expose an audio switch that changes the price. Decide whether the shot needs sound before comparing costs, and check the exact model ID.
Several reference media
04Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 accept image, video, and audio references. Their input limits and pricing differ. Use the comparison and each model’s reference to check the media you plan to send.
Edit or extend an existing clip
05Seedance 2.5 has explicit edit and extend modes using a reference video. Follow the extension guide for a longer sequence and include the reference video when estimating the next request.
