The content standards, moderation, reporting and enforcement rules for everything generated through SeedRouter.

SeedRouter provides API access to image, video, language and audio models developed by third parties. This Acceptable Use Policy (this "Policy") applies to every account. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and violating it can lead to action against your account, up to termination and referral to the authorities.
You are responsible for your own use of SeedRouter and for the use made by your end users, including every prompt, reference file and output.
1. Scope
This Policy covers all text, images, video, audio, prompts, reference material and outputs that are generated, submitted, stored or distributed through SeedRouter, whether through the API or through the playground on our website.
2. Prohibited content
Do not use SeedRouter to generate, request, upload or distribute any of the following six categories of content.
2.1 Sexual and NSFW content
- Pornography and sexually explicit content, including explicit nudity and depictions of sexual acts.
- Sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent, including non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Sexual violence, and content that sexualizes violence or coercion.
2.2 Violence and gore
- Gratuitously violent content, extreme gore, and depictions of torture, mutilation or animal cruelty.
- Threats or incitement of violence against any person or group.
- Content that promotes or glorifies terrorism, violent extremism or mass violence, or recruits for it.
- Content that promotes or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide.
2.3 Hate speech
- Content that attacks, dehumanizes or incites hatred against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other legally protected characteristic.
- Slurs, harassment, bullying and targeted abuse.
- Incitement to genocide or ethnic hatred.
2.4 Child safety
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, animated or AI-generated depictions.
- Any content that sexualizes minors, and any grooming or sextortion content.
- Distribution of obscene or age-restricted material to minors.
2.5 Deepfakes and impersonation
- Using another person's name, image, voice or likeness without their consent to impersonate them or to deceive others.
- Presenting AI-generated output as authentic footage, audio or images of a real person, organization or event.
- Fraud, scams, defamation and disinformation intended to deceive, including content likely to affect public health, public safety or elections.
2.6 Copyright and trademark
- Content that infringes any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right.
- Reproducing protected characters, artwork, logos, music or other works without permission from the rights holder.
- Using a brand's marks in a way that suggests an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
3. Other prohibited uses
Also do not use SeedRouter to:
- Obtain instructions for weapons capable of mass casualties, including chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons.
- Produce or facilitate illegal or regulated goods, or any other criminal activity.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk content.
- Collect or disclose personal, health, financial or biometric data without a legal basis.
- Gain unauthorized access to any system, create malware, or disrupt SeedRouter or any service behind it.
- Circumvent the safety systems of SeedRouter or of any model, including through jailbreak prompts or obfuscation.
- Break any applicable law, or the usage policy of the model you call.
4. Zero tolerance
The following lead to immediate termination, and we will report them to the competent authorities where the law requires or allows it. No account, contract or configuration grants an exception:
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content promoting, facilitating or celebrating terrorism, violent extremism or mass violence.
- Instructions for weapons capable of mass casualties.
- Incitement to genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Non-consensual sexual deepfakes of real people.
5. How content is moderated
SeedRouter gives access to models built by other companies, so moderation happens at more than one level. We describe what we actually do, and do not claim more.
Model safety systems. The models available through SeedRouter apply their own content-safety checks to prompts and to generated results. A request refused on content grounds fails, and you are not charged for it.
Playground controls. Requests sent from the playground on our website always run with the model's safety filtering switched on. Options that loosen filtering cannot be selected there, and our server rejects them if they are sent anyway. Some models expose such a setting to API callers. Using it does not exempt anyone from this Policy: everything prohibited above stays prohibited however a request is made.
Review after a report. Automated checks cannot catch everything a person would recognize in a finished result, such as a likeness used without consent, a defamatory claim, or output presented elsewhere as real footage. That is covered by reports (section 6): every report is reviewed by a person against this Policy. Each image, video and audio task is recorded with its task ID and the account that created it, which lets us find the material a report refers to and act on the account, not only on a single output. We do not store the content of text-model conversations, so a report about text output needs to include the text itself.
We do not operate our own content classifier, a dedicated trust and safety team, or hash-matching partnerships. Reports are reviewed by SeedRouter staff. If we adopt any of these, we will say so here.
6. Reporting a violation
Where to report. Email [email protected], or use our contact page, which reaches the same inbox. A person reads every report. Start the subject line with REPORT so it is handled ahead of ordinary support mail.
What to include. Send as much of the following as you have:
- The output URL or the task ID.
- The part of this Policy you believe was violated.
- Where you saw the content, if it was published outside SeedRouter.
- For text output, the text itself.
- Any context that helps us assess it, and how to reach you if we need more.
You can use the same address to ask us to remove a stored output that shows you, or that uses your voice, likeness or copyrighted work without your permission.
What happens next. We confirm we received the report, rank it by severity, review the material against this Policy, decide on action under section 7, carry it out, and tell you the outcome. When a report is upheld we delete the stored output and act against the account that created it.
| Severity | Scope | First response | Resolution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Critical | Anything in section 4, or a credible threat to life | Within 24 hours | Within 72 hours |
| High | Serious violation of sections 2 or 3 | 3 business days | 7 business days |
| Standard | All other reports | 5 business days | 15 business days |
Reports about child safety or a credible threat to life are handled before everything else. If a case needs longer than the time above, we tell the reporter and explain why.
How we treat reporters. We do not tell the reported account who reported it. A report is judged on the material itself. Reports made in bad faith, or repeated reports already found to be unfounded, are recorded and may themselves be treated as a violation of this Policy.
7. Enforcement
| Violation | Action |
|---|---|
| First minor violation | Written warning and removal of the output |
| Repeated or deliberate violation | Suspension of API keys and forfeiture of the remaining balance |
| Serious violation | Immediate account termination, forfeiture of the remaining balance, and retention of records where required |
| Zero tolerance (section 4) | Immediate termination and referral to the competent authorities |
We may suspend an account while an investigation is in progress.
8. Appeals
If you believe we acted in error, email [email protected] within 30 days of our notice, with APPEAL at the start of the subject line, your account email and the relevant task ID. We review the material again against this Policy and reply with the outcome. Actions taken under section 4 cannot be appealed.
9. Your responsibilities
- Hold the rights and consents needed for any reference material you submit, including the consent of any identifiable person in it.
- Follow the usage policy of each model you call, which applies in addition to this Policy.
- Meet any moderation or age-verification obligation that applies to your own product or audience.
Accepting an upload is not a decision that you hold the rights to it.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as laws and models change. Material changes are shown by the "Last updated" date above.
Reports (section 6), appeals (section 8) and questions about this Policy all go to [email protected], which is also the address behind our contact page. Put REPORT or APPEAL at the start of the subject line.
