Pollo AI API pricing is pay-as-you-go in US dollars: you top up a balance, and each model has a listed price per image or per second of video. It is separate from the pollo.ai app, whose plans sell credits, and API usage does not touch those credits. This guide reads the Pollo API price list on October 5, 2026, covers the top-up rules and free use, and compares the image models it shares with SeedRouter.

SeedRouter is the cheaper option compared here, and it is our product. The Pollo API also sells models SeedRouter does not, such as Kling 3.0, and its MiniMax H3 rates were within a fraction of a cent of SeedRouter's on that date, so this guide only tables the models where SeedRouter cost clearly less.

## How does Pollo AI API pricing work?

Pollo lists a dollar price for each model, mode and resolution on its API pricing page, often next to fal's price for the same model. Balance comes from top-up packages of $80, $140, $350, $1,200 and $5,000. Customers who top up $5,000 can unlock limited-time discounts, such as 20% off GPT Image 2 and 25% off Nano Banana 2.

## Is the Pollo AI API free?

Not on its pricing page, which starts at the $80 package. The pollo.ai app has bonus credits for signing up, daily check-ins and referrals, but those are app credits, not API balance, and Pollo users reported in May 2026 that the daily redeem button had been replaced by a referral prompt. Every new SeedRouter account starts with a small free balance, and SeedRouter credits never expire.

## What does the Pollo AI API cost for Nano Banana?

A batch of 500 Nano Banana Pro images at 4K is $120 at Pollo's listed price. On SeedRouter the same batch costs about an eighth of that. Even with the 25% Nano Banana 2 discount Pollo offers at its largest top-up, its 1K to 4K prices stay above SeedRouter's flat rate.

## Does the Pollo AI API have Seedance?

Not on October 5, 2026. Its API price list covered Kling, Veo, Wan, MiniMax, Vidu, Pixverse and Pollo's own models, but no Seedance rows, even though the pollo.ai app offers Seedance 2.5 and 2.0.
